TSCC’s Lena Headey Cast in SAFE HOUSE
Actress Lena Headey has been cast to star in the upcoming film “Safe House.” Spirit Pictures and Steve Iles are producing the film which will be directed by Simon Hunter.
The film follows a group of US Marshals tasked with protecting a mother-daughter duo who are scheduled to be witnesses in a mob trial. The pair are hidden away in a hilltop compound high in the California Rockies in a home with a deep history of mystery and violence. Michael Ironside (“Terminator Salvation”) has already been cast in the film and producers have made offers to Kate Mara (“Iron Man 2″) and Michael Trucco (“Battlestar Galactica”). Filming on the project is expected to begin in March.
Headey is best known for her starring role in the Fox television series “Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles.”
