Elisabeth Shue Cast In HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET
Actress Elisabeth Shue will be joining the cast of the upcoming indie thriller HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET. The indie film will be directed by Mark Tonderai whose previous work includes “Hush.”
Shue will star alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Max Thieriot in the thriller which hopes to be a modern partner to “Psycho,” much like “Disturbia” was to “Rear Window.” The film follows a mother and daughter, Shue and Lawrence respectively, who move into a new home that is just across the street from a home where a brutal murder took place. The pair’s life gets complicated when Lawrence’s character becomes romantically involved with the lone survivor of the massacre across the street, played by Thieriot. The project is set to get underway next month in Ottawa.
Shue appears to be getting comfortable in the horror business as she will be appearing next in the remake “Piranha 3D” by Alexandre Aja. She also recently finished up work on the indie project “Janie Jones.”
