Natalee Holloway Movie Coming Soon
A feature film about the disappearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway is set to be released early next year. Holloway disappeared while on vacation in Aruba, a Dutch Caribbean island, back in 2005 and has not been seen since.
Holloway was in Aruba for a high school graduation trip when she disappeared. Dutch national Joran van der Sloot was the key suspect in the investigation of Holloway’s disappearance, but despite two arrests during the investigation, police in Aruba were never able to definitively tie him to the crime. Van der Sloot has since been arrested in Lima, Peru for the murder of 21 year old business student Stephany Flores.
The Holloway film was shot in Aruba this April through July and is entitled “Me & Mr. Jones.” The story follows an undercover journalist who decides to break into the home of van der Sloot in search of evidence that will break open the case against him. Paul Ruven produced and directed the film which stars Robert de Hoog as the journalist and Hanna Verboom as his assistant.
