Fox To Adapt “29: A Novel”

Fox studios has acquired the feature film rights to the book “29: A Novel.” The novel from Adena Halpern hits book stores in June 15th and the feature film deal has John Davis attached to produce the project.
The novel’s story focuses on a 75 year old woman who desires to remain young. When her birthday rolls around she wishes that she could be 29 years old again, if only for a day. The woman embarks on an adventure with her granddaughter when her wish comes true, but her disappearance leads to concern on the part of her middle-aged daughter and older best friend. The pair, fearing she has been kidnapped, set out on their own adventure to find her. As of right now the film has no director or writer attached to develop the project for the big screen.
Davis currently has two movies that hit theaters this summer. Davis produced “Predators” along with Robert Rodriguez and also worked on “Marmaduke.”
