LAST MAN STANDING Comic Book To Be Made into A Movie
The graphic novel “Last Man Standing” was a hit at Comic-Con and now the rights to the franchise have been purchased by Paramount. The studio is planning to develop the novel into a multiplatform project including a feature film and comic book series.
Daniel LuVisi is the artist and creator behind “Last Man Standing,” the story of an invincible soldier created by the armies of Earth to help them win a war with Mars; a war they suddenly find themselves too deep into. The story takes place 600 years in the future in an alternate universe. The graphic novel took two and a half years for LuVisi to develop, but sold out in just under two hours. Heavy Metal publishing put out the graphic novel and would like to develop it into a comic book series as well.
LuVisi will produce the feature film project for Paramount along with Scott Aversano.
