Jeffrey Dean Morgan To Star In THE COURIER

Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan has signed on to star in the upcoming film “The Courier.” The action film is being financed by Arclight Films and will be directed by Hany Abu-Assad whose most recent project was “Paradise Now.”

Morgan, who will also produce on the film, plays a courier who is renowned for taking on the hardest deliveries in the world and never missing a job. In this film he takes on the mission of delivering a briefcase to a mob boss whose whereabouts are unknown. His trek is constantly impeded by corrupt cops, crooked feds, and rival mob bosses. The film’s script was written by Derek Haas and Michael Brandt who wrote “3%3A10 to Yuma.” Production begins next month in New Orleans.

Morgan most recently starred in “The Watchmen” and has several projects in production and/or nearing completion. These projects include roles in “Peace, Love and Misunderstanding,” “The Fields,” “Red Dawn,” and “The Resident.”
