VAMPIRES SUCK Illegal Download Really Hot

An unfinished version of Fox and New Regency’s new film “Vampires Suck” was leaked online a month ago and just recently passed 100,000 downloads. The film, a parody of the “Twilight” series, is due to hit theaters across America today but the unfinished copy has been available online for weeks now.

Fox is no stranger to having their films leaked online and downloaded by the masses. Just two years ago a similar incident occurred when an unfinished version of “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” wound up online a month before the film was released to theaters. It was estimated by some that nearly one million people viewed the rough cut online before the film was in theaters, though it remains unknown what affect, if any, the incident had on the film’s box office performance.

The situation two years ago earned national media attention, harsh words from Fox executives, and eventually an arrest. Fox is acting swiftly to protect “Vampires Suck” requesting that sites like Google take down any links related to the online version of the film.
