True Blood’s Deborah Ann Woll Joins Cast of SOMEDAY THIS PAIN WILL BE USEFUL TO YOU
Actress Deborah Ann Woll has signed on to join the ensemble cast of the upcoming drama “Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You.” Roberto Faenza will direct the film, which is an adaptation of the novel by Peter Cameron.
The film tells the tale of a young man who is forced to step out of his life of isolation to deal with his odd family before heading off to college. Woll will play the sister of the young isolated man and will be joining a cast that already includes Ellen Burstyn, Marcia Gay Harden, Lucy Liu, and Stephen Lang. The film will begin shooting in New York next month.
Woll is just the latest actor from HBO’s “True Blood” vampire series to begin landing feature film roles. Alexander Skarsgard will soon begin filming on “Battleship” while Stephen Moyer is set to star in “The Big Valley.” Woll’s upcoming films include the crime drama “Catch .44” and the sports drama “Seven Days in Utopia.”
