Actor Jim Carrey has joined the feature film project “Mr. Popper’s Penguins” in the starring role. The film is an adaptation of a popular children’s book from 1938 and is setup at Fox studios.
Carrey landed the role after a long search for a star that saw other leading actors including Ben Stiller, Jack Black, and Owen Wilson circling the project at one point.
