Taylor Schilling To Star Alongside Zac Efron In “Lucky One”
Actress Taylor Schilling has landed a starring role alongside Zac Efron in the upcoming film “The Lucky One.” The film is an adaptation of the novel from Nicholas Sparks and is setup at Warner Bros.
In the story Efron plays the lead role of a Marine who managed to survive three tours of duty in Iraq thanks in part, he believes, to a photo of a woman he does not know that he carried with him. When he returns to the U.S. he sets about finding the woman, who will be played by Schilling.
Other young Hollywood actresses were after the role, including Abbie Cornish and Katie Cassidy. Schilling starred on the now cancelled NBC medical drama “Mercy” and just finished up filming her role on “Atlas Shrugged.”
