Jeremy Renner Joins Tom Cruise’s “Mission Impossible” 4 Team
Actor Jeremy Renner has signed on to join the cast of the upcoming fourth installment in the “Mission: Impossible” franchise. The fourth film will be directed by Brad Bird based upon the script from Josh Applebaum and André Nemec.
Renner will star alongside Tom Cruise in the latest installment in the action thriller series and is expected to play a team member of Ethan Hunt (Cruise). The film will begin shooting this fall and hopes to arrive at the box office on December 16, 2011.
Renner shot to fame playing the role of Sergeant First Class William James in the highly acclaimed film “The Hurt Locker.” His performance in “Hurt Locker” earned him an Oscar nomination earlier this year and helped him land the role of Hawkeye in the upcoming Marvel adaptation “The Avengers.”
