Bryan Cranston Lands Leading Role In “The Grief Tourist”

Actor Bryan Cranston’s hot streak continues as the multiple Emmy winner has landed a starring role in the upcoming indie film “The Grief Tourist.” Cranston will star in the film alongside Michael Cudlitz.
The film was written by Frank John Hughes and will be directed by Suri Krishnamma. In the film, a disturbed man’s odd hobby of retracing the steps of serial killers leads viewers on a trip through his twisted soul. Cranston’s co-star, Cudlitz, currently stars on the TNT television series “Southland.”
Cranston’s success began over a decade ago as the father on “Malcolm in the Middle,” but more recently he has won three straight Emmy’s for Best Actor for his role on the AMC series “Breaking Bad.” His success has led a number of feature film roles including the upcoming projects “Red Tails” from George Lucas, “Larry Crowne” from Tom Hanks, and “John Carter on Mars.”
