Jamie Bell Joins Sam Worthington In “Man On A Ledge”
Actor Jamie Bell has joined the cast of the upcoming crime thriller “Man On A Ledge.” Bell will join the cast in a starring role alongside Sam Worthington with Anthony Mackie also negotiating to join the project.
The film from Summit Entertainment will begin shooting in November in New York and will center on Worthington’s character, a cop who has been wrongfully imprisoned. Worthington is released from jail in order to attend the funeral of his father, but escapes in the process and winds up on the ledge of a building threatening to jump. Bell will play the role of Worthington’s brother who is conveniently planning a jewelry heist across the street from where his brother is threatening suicide.
Bell will be very busy in the coming months with roles lined up in “The Eagle” “Jane Eyre,” “The Adventures of Tin Tin: The Secret of the Unicorn,” and “The Retreat.”
