Mickey Rourke To Play Assassin In “Ice Man”
Actor Mickey Rourke has landed the leading role in the upcoming project “Ice Man: Confessions of a Mafia Contract Killer.” The film’s story is based upon the book from Philip Carlo with David McKenna adapting a screenplay for the big screen.
“Ice Man” tells the real life story of Richard “The Ice Man” Kuklinski. Kuklinski spent 40 years of his life leading a double life as both a doting husband and father in suburban New Jersey, and a professional assassin. Matty Beckerman’s Natural Selection is financing the project and Beckerman is very excited about the project, stating that this is a role Rourke was born to play.
Rourke’s latest film project, “Passion Play,” just debuted last Friday at the Toronto International Film Festival.
