Angelina Jolie’s Directorial Debut Has A Star Zana Marjanovic

Bosnian actress Zana Marjanovic has been cast in the leading role in an upcoming war film that will be the directorial debut for actress Angelina Jolie. Jolie’s film will be based upon the Bosnian Wars of the 1990s.
Marjanovic is a native of Bosnia and will play a Bosnian woman who falls in love with a Serbian soldier during the height of the fighting. Jolie developed her screenplay after visiting Bosnia twice this year as a goodwill ambassador of the United Nations Human Rights Commission. The film will be produced in Hungary and Bosnia later this year.
Marjanovic expressed her anticipation to work with Jolie whom she called a great actress and humanist. The actress is best known for her leading role in the Bosnian film “Snow.”
