The writer behind the Ben Affleck film “Changing Lanes,” Chap Taylor, has been hired to adapt the feature film version of “Gideon’s Sword.” The film is set up at Paramount and will be directed by Michael Bay.
The film will be adapted from the novel series from Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, a 12 book series which will have the first book published in February. The hero of the series is blessed with the ability to convince people of anything he wants. The first film’s setup has been described as a Jason Bourne-style action flick.
