Emma Stone To Be Andrew Garfield’s Mary Jane Watson in Spider-Man 4
With the reboot of the Spider-Man series fast approaching, it is being reported that actress Emma Stone will be offered the role of Mary Jane Watson. Sony Entertainment, the studio behind the original three films, is in charge of the reboot.
Sony decided earlier this year to part ways with Spider-Man veterans Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi. The reboot will see the web-slinger head back to high school with Andrew Garfield cast as Peter Parker, once filled by Maguire. Stone would take over for Kirsten Dunst who played Mary Jane in the original films.
Stone broke onto the scene in “Superbad” and it has been nothing but up for her since. She most recently starred in “Easy A” and will next be seen in the film “The Help.”
