Edward Burns Joins Sam Worthington in MAN ON A LEDGE
MAN ON A LEDGE has added Edward Burns to its cast. Burns recently finished wrapping Nice Guy Johnny, which he directed and stars in; his most recent major studio production being the 2008 romantic comedy 27 Dresses.
Man on a Ledge stars Sam Worthington as an ex-cop threatening to swan dive off of a New York City high rise. The NYPD brings in a hostage negotiator (Elizabeth Banks) to defuse the crisis, but as she talks with Worthington, she realizes that there might be more to his objective than just jumping off of the building.
Genesis Rodriguez, Jamie Bell, and Anthony Mackie have also been cast in Man on a Ledge which is set to begin shooting in New York this month. The film is directed by Asger Leth, and will be produced under Di Bonaventura Pictures.
