Judd Apatow Working on “I Found This Funny”
Writer-producer-director Judd Apatow is teaming up with writer Dave Eggers in an unlikely pairing for "I Found This Funny." The project is a 480 page book that is a collection of various comedy themed stories.
The book will include stories, essays, short fictions, and comedy sketches from a variety of authors ranging from Steve Martin, David Sedaris, and Conan O'Brien to the likes of Philip Roth, Alice Munro, and Raymond Carver. 826 National, a non-profit devoted to promoting literacy among children, will receive all the profits from the book's sales.
Apatow is the brains behind several big comedies of the last few years such as "Knocked Up," "Superbad," and "Pineapple Express."
