Aaron Eckhart Will Be “The Expatriate”
Actor Aaron Eckhart has landed the starring role in the upcoming drama "The Expatriate." The film will be directed by Philipp Stolzl based upon a script written by A.E. Amel.
In the film Eckhart will play a former CIA agent who tries to repair his relationship with his 15 year old daughter after retiring from the intelligence agency. His character takes a role as a security advisor to a multinational firm in Belgium, only to arrive one day and find his co-workers gone, the corporation vacant, and an assassin out to kill him and his daughter.
Eckhart is well known for his roles in "Thank You for Smoking" and "The Dark Knight." He will next appear in "Rabbit Hole" with Nicole Kidman, which hits theaters in December.
