Chad Michael Murray and Katee Sachoff To Star In THE HAUNTING IN GEORGIA
Gold Circle Films’ next “Haunting” film is THE HAUNTING IN GEORGIA. Chad Michael Murray and Katee Sachoff have recently joined the cast of the film which is set to begin filming later this month.
Lionsgate owns the domestic rights to the film and is selling the international rights at AFM. The Haunting in Georgia is Gold Circle Fims’ follow up to it’s 2009 hit The Haunting In Connecticut which hit the number 1 spot on in box offices on its opening weekend.
The Haunting In Georgia is based on the true story (just like Connecticut) of the Wyrick family that, after moving into their new home, start to experience paranormal phenomenon.
Murray plays Andy Wyrick, husband to Lisa Wyrick (Abigail Spencer) who has terrifying visions; a problem she shares with her sister Joyce played by Sachoff.
Sachoff is best known for her role as Starbuck on Battlestar Galactica, and currently can be seen on CSI; which Murray is known as his role on The CW’s One Tree Hill. The Haunting in Georgia is set to start filming later this month in Baton Rouge, with Tim Elkins directing.
