Robert Downey Jr. Looking At HOW TO TALK TO GIRLS
Based on the book by 9 year old Alec Greven, HOW TO TALK TO GIRLS is being eyed up by Robert Downey Jr. as his next project.
Nothing has been confirmed with Downey signing on for Girls, and he is still attached to OZ: The Great and Powerful over at Disney, which is looking to start shooting next summer.
Greven wrote the book as a school project about advice on how to deal with the opposite sex. The book landed him a publishing deal, and at least three other books have been written.
A draft of the How to Talk to Girls screenplay has been written by Ben Karlin and Stu Zicherman, but apparently the project is being redeveloped since Downey has shown interested. Downey’s wife Susan is producing the film with Shawn Levy, and will oversee the hiring of a new writer.
