Verizon Fios’ Flex View To Offer Movie-Streaming Service
There is yet another big name coming to the online streaming game, Verizon Communications Inc. Verizon is the latest giant to join Netflix, Comcast, and a myriad of other media companies to offer online streaming options.
Verizon will launch their new streaming service through their FiOS TV service. The new program will be entitled Flex View and will allow customers to purchase movies and television shows online and view them on several screens. Included on the list are televisions, PCs, laptops, and smartphones.
The new Flex View program from Verizon will cost consumers roughly $17 per movie and will be highly portable. Executives at Verizon believe that since DVDs are never watched in just one place, online content shouldn't be confined to one place either.
