Andy And Lana Wachowski Write New Take On Robin Hood

The Wachowskis are coming back to Warner Bros. with a new urban take on Robin Hood with their new film HOOD. The pair has written the script and will direct, but there are no details of the story available. They are, however, already on the look out for actors, with Will Smith being an actor that the pair has reached out to.
The Wachowskis have been hard at work on their film CN-9, an Iraqi war film based around a team of archeologists that are piecing together events from the U.S. occupation of Iraq. The film uses found footage to tell the story which involves an assassination plot against George W. Bush, and two male soldiers falling in love.
Warners has had first crack an the Wachowski’s films since The Matrix, and they will distribute the duo’s new Hood when the plans are finalized.
The Wachowskis are repped by WME and Circle of Confusion.
