Mila Kunis Interested In Seth MacFarlane’s TED
Mila Kunis is looking to join the cast of Seth MacFarlane’s TED. While negotiations aren’t officially in the works yet, Kunis stated that if scheduling permitted, she’d love to work on the project with MacFarlane.
Kunis has voiced the character of Meg Griffin in MacFarlane’s TV series Family Guy. Rumors were circling that Kunis had signed on for Ted, but were quieted by Kunis: “I found out about it from an email that a friend of mine sent me,” Kunis said “It’s a script that I read that Seth is directing. I read it on and off for two years through different rewrites. It’s a really great script.”
Ted is MacFarlane’s first attempt at a big screen film, which is the story of a man who happens to have a teddy-bear sidekick. Mark Wahlberg is attached to play the lead character, and Kunis (if signed) would play his girlfriend who is ready to take their relationship to the next level.
Kunis has recently stared in Black Swan, and earned a Golden Globe nomination, so her schedule could be filling up fast. “If time permits and scheduling works out I’d love to do it,” she said. “I don’t even know if there’s a set date. I know Wahlberg and I did a table read and he was great. It’s a really, really funny script. Its all just a matter of timing.”
In addition to Wahlberg and Kunis, Adam Scott of Parks and Recreation is looking to join the Ted cast. He’d play Kunis’ boss.
