13 Year Old Jeopardy Winner Will Star In EXTREMELY LOUD AND INCREDIBLY CLOSE

Thomas Horn, the 13 year old that won a total of $31,800 on Kids Jeopardy in October, has been cast along side Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks in EXTREMELY LOUD AND INCREDIBLY CLOSE.
Based on the novel written by Jonathan Safran Foer’s, Close is the story of Oskar Schell, a young boy struggling to deal with his father’s death in the World Trade Center on 9/11. Oskar finds a key in his father’s things and tries to find out what the key opens.
In addition to his monetary earnings, Horn also won a trip for his family to Alaska for winning the Jeopardy competition. When asked what questions he didn’t want asked, Horn replied: “Pop culture, so I didn’t want them to ask anything about that.”
Directed by Stephen Daldry (The Hours and The Reader) and written by Eric Roth (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Close will be a Paramount and Warner Bros. production.
