Alex Pettyfer Cast in SHUNT: THE STORY OF JAMES HUNT
According to Deadline.com, DreamWorks has big plans for Alex Pettyfer (Beastly). In addition to starring in I Am Number Four, which is envisioned by the studio as their next big film franchise, the twenty-year old actor had already been tapped to star in another film.
Pettyfer is set to play James Hunt in the film adaptation of Tom Rubython’s book Shunt: The Story of James Hunt. Hunt was a British racing driving who won the Formula One World Championships in 1976 and whose charm turned the whole country on to the sport.
Pettyfer will also act as producer on the film, along with John Palermo, who is also a producer on the Darren Aronofsky-directed Wolverine and is also producing Incareron, which just got Taylor Lautner attached as star.
