Eminem Plans Return To Big Screen
Nine years after his film debut in the semi-autobiographical film 8 Mile, Eminem is planning his return to the big screen with a new thriller for 20th Century Fox titled RANDOM ACTS OF VIOLENCE.
“Eminem’s producing team, including his manager Paul Rosenberg, have been developing this project for some time,” a rep for the rapper commented. “Everyone involved hopes that it comes to fruition and the film goes into production, but as of right now nothing is set in stone and there is no firm start date.”
Violence is the story of an ex-con just released from prison that tries to stay on the right side of the law, despite peer pressure from his old friends. While this is going on, the FBI is also in contact with him to bring down the crime ring.
Fox has been developing Violence for over four years. David Von Anclen (Californication) is set to direct the picture.
