Jeremy Piven & Mike O’Malley Join Miley Cyrus In New Film SO UNDERCOVER

so undercover

Entourage star Jeremy Piven and Glee star Mike O’Malley have been tapped to join Miley Cyrus in the action comedy SO UNDERCOVER, TheWrap.com announced on Tuesday. Exclusive Films will produce the project, which will be directed by Tom Vaughan (What Happens in Vegas.) Allan Loeb and Steven Pearl will helm the script, which centers around Cyrus playing a street-smart private investigator who is hired by the FBI to go undercover in the one place they’re unable to infiltrate – a college sorority.

Piven will play an FBI agent, while O’Malley will play Cyrus’ father. The two join a previously announced cast consisting of Josh Bowman (who will play Cyrus’ love interes), Gossip Girl’s Matthew Settle (who will play a professor) and Kelly Osbourne (who will play a sorority sister), as well as Eloise Mumford, Lauren McKnight, Megan Park, Morgan Calhoun and Alexis Knapp.

It’s a busy time of year for Exclusive Films, which recently produced Matt Reeves’ Let Me In and Peter Weir’s The Way Back – both which will be released later this month. Currently, the company is working on the anticipated Daniel Radcliffe chiller The Woman in Black.

The movie seems to have garnered an interesting cast, that’s for sure. What’s your opinion on Miley Cyrus working with such vets at Jeremy Piven and Mike O’Malley?
