Jennifer Love Hewitt To Direct First Feature Film
Jennifer Love Hewitt is making waves in the acting world by adding another title to her resume – movie director. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Party of Five actress will direct her first feature film, an adaptation of the family ghost story WAIT TIL HELEN COMES. Although this is Love Hewitt’s first time directing a feature film, it’s not necessarily a first for her – she’s directed several episodes of her hit tv show, CBS’s Ghost Whisperer.
With a script written by Sanchez Mandryk, the movie centers on a 12-year-old girl who’s the eldest of three children that moves into a haunted house converted from a church in the Maryland countryside. In addition to directing, the actress will also produce the film along with executive producer Manual Freedman. Although no official start date has been given, it is rumored that producers are looking to start filming this summer.
Have you seen any episodes of Ghost Whisperer directed by Jennifer Love Hewitt and do you think she’d make a good feature film director?
