Ben Affleck Eyes AMERICAN BULLSHIT For Next Directing Gig

After his success with his helming of The Town, Ben Affleck is in demand in Hollywood! The actor turned director has his eye on several projects that he’s considering adding to his resume.
The current project that Affleck is seriously considering is #8 on the Black List. The film is titled AMERICAN BULLSHIT and is written by Eric Warren Singer. The project is described as the true story of Abscam, the 1980 undercover FBI sting operation to root out corruption in Congress.
American Bullshit is set at Sony Pictures Entertainment and will be produced by Charles Roven and Richard Suckle through Atlas Entertainment.
As of right now, Affleck hasn’t commited to the film. While seriously considering it, he’s still looking at a few others. The Trade based on the trade of New York Yankees pitchers Fritz Peterson and Mike Kekich; and Replay. Replay is written by Jason Smilovic and based on the novel by Ken Grimwood about a 43-year old who dies and is reincarnated in the body of an 18 year old.
Both of these films are at Warner Bros. where Affleck has his first look deal.
