Josh Duhamel, Ice Cube, and Ryan Seacrest Joining NEW YEAR’S EVE
The all-star cast of NEW YEAR’S EVE just keeps growing. According to The Hollywood Reporter, both Ice Cube and Ryan Seacrest are negotiating to join the Garry Marshall-directed film while The Wrap reports that Josh Duhamel is also coming on board.
New Year’s Eve follows a group of New Yorkers facing romantic dilemmas whose stories intertwine over the course of, shockingly, a New Year’s Eve. Jessica Biel, Jon Bon Jovi, Abigail Breslin, Robert De Niro, Zac Efron, Ashton Kutcher, Seth Meyers, Lea Michele, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Til Schweiger, Sienna Miller, Hilary Swank and Sofia Vergara will all also appear in the movie.
Duhamel will star as a man trying to get to New York in order to find a woman he met the year before while Ice Cube is set to play a police officer working with the Times Square festivities director played by Hilary Swank. Ryan Seacrest will appear as himself in a cameo.
Duhamel was last seen in Life As We Know It, Ice Cube was in this past summer’s Lottery Ticket, and Seacrest has previously played himself in Get Smart and Knocked Up.
