Julia Roberts In Talks To Play Evil Queen In BROTHERS GRIMM: SNOW WHITE
There are three – count them – THREE Snow White films currently being worked on by different studios. In Relativity Media’s version BROTHER GRIMM: SNOW WHITE, Julia Roberts is currently in talks to play Snow White’s wicked step mother the Evil Queen.
Director Tarsem Singh (The Cell, The Fall) has spoken up from the start that he wanted Roberts for the queen, and now representatives from the actresses’ camp are in negotiations. Personally, I’d love to see Roberts step into a villainess roll; it would be something different from her usual roles.
Meanwhile, Universal Pictures is looking at a few actors to sign for THEIR Snow White Project: Snow White and the Huntsman. Currently they are negotiating with Charlize Theron for the Evil Queen, Kristen Stewart for Snow White, and Viggo Mortensen for the Huntsman.
