MEN IN BLACK III Casts Alice Eve
MEN IN BLACK III may be taking an extended production hiatus, but that doesn’t mean all action has stopped. Deadline reports that Alice Eve (She’s Out of My League) is joining the film to play a younger version of Emma Thompson’s “Oh” character.
Eve will appear in the time travel storyline where agent J (Will Smith) must go back in time to team up with a young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to, yep, save the world. We will see the Agency hire Eve’s Oh as a secretary in 1969, seemingly for her looks. Really, though, she is very smart and in the contemporary story, Thompson’s Oh is in charge of the Agency.
Eve recently finished filming The Decoy Bride with David Tennant and she also has The Raven with John Cusack awaiting release.
Men in Black III also stars Tommy Lee Jones, Rip Torn, and Alec Baldwin and is being directed by Barry Sonnenfeld. Producers extended the film’s holiday hiatus to retool the script, but it is still expected to be finished for its May 25, 2012 release date.
