Mila Kunis Lands Wicked Witch Of The West In OZ, THE GREAT AND POWERFUL
It looks like Mila Kuins has left her role in the remake of Akira and is now set to appear in Sam Raimi’s OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL with James Franco.
Rami’s take on the classic story of the Wizard and Witches of Oz will actually show audiences where exactly, the characters of the merry old land actually came from. Following people like Glinda who we all know as the Good Witch of the North, and Evanorah, the witch that gets leveled by Dorothy’s farmhouse, to the Wonderful Wizard himself, Oz: The Great and Powerful was written by David
Lindsay-Abaire (Inkheart).
Kunis is stepping into the role of Theodorah, Evanroah’s younger sister, who eventually becomes the infamous Wicked Witch of the West. After securing Kunis, Franco did fully agree to sign on as the Wizard.
Shooting for Oz: The Great And Powerful will begin in July at Disney Studios.
