Fright Night Synopsis: Senior Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) finally has it all—he’s running with the popular crowd and dating the hottest girl in high school. In fact, he’s so cool he’s even dissing his best friend Ed (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). But trouble arrives when an intriguing stranger Jerry (Colin Farrell) moves in next door. He seems like a great guy at first, but there’s something not quite right—and everyone, including Charlie’s mom (Toni Collette), doesn’t notice. After witnessing some very unusual activity, Charlie comes to an unmistakable conclusion: Jerry is a vampire preying on his neighborhood. Unable to convince anyone that he’s telling the truth, Charlie has to find a way to get rid of the monster himself in this Craig Gillespie-helmed revamp of the comedy-horror classic.
Fright Night will be released to theaters on August 19th, 2011. Check out the full poster below.

Fooled ya! I know who created that poster..,
You’re not the only ones to be fooled though…
Uh, that now-infamous poster is a manip created by a David Tennant fan named Seduff on Twitter. You can see her tag on the it. It’s David’s head photoshopped onto an old promo from The Matrix. That picture was all over the movie sites last week because someone pulled a prank and posted it to Tumblr claiming it was real, and I guess everyone fell for it and didn’t bother to check if it was real. Dreamworks have been sending out shirty emails to the websites which posted it asking them to take it down, so you might want to add a disclaimer saying it’s a fan-made fake poster.
Oh damn, it looked too good to be true 🙂 Let’s hope an official David Tennant poster gets released that looks as good as this one. And thanks for the info, it shall now be referred to as the David Tennant fan-mad poster.
Didn’t bother to look at the bottom right corner of the thing, did you? That’s Seduff’s gorgeous work, and it says so right on the “poster.”
