STRAW DOGS (2011) Photos with Alexander Skarsgard, James Marsden and Kate Bosworth

A few photos from the remake of STRAW DOGS have been released and we get our first look at Alexander Skarsgard, James Marsden and Kate Bosworth.

The 1971 original movie starred Dustin Hoffman, but I realized that I had never actually seen the movie, how did that happen?! Oh well, one more to add to my long list.

But back on this Straw Dog remake, which is also based on the novel “The Siege of Trencher’s Farm” by Gordon Williams. I was pretty much sold on it when I read the cast list. Alexander Skarsgard, James Marsden, James Woods, Dominic Purcell, and Kate Bosworth, yeah you definitely don’t want to miss it. The movie will be released on September 16, 2011.

David and Amy Sumner (James Marsden and Kate Bosworth), a Hollywood screenwriter and his actress wife, return to her small hometown in the deep South to prepare the family home for sale after her father’s death. Once there, tensions build in their marriage and old conflicts re-emerge with the locals, including Amy’s ex-boyfriend Charlie (Alexander Skarsgård), leading to a violent confrontation.
