Katee Sackhoff Joins Cast of ‘Riddick’

According to Deadline, Katee Sackhooff of Battlestar Galactica fame will be co-starring in the upcoming (and untilted) Chronicles of Riddick sequel. Sachoff will play “Dahl”, a mercenary attempting to track down Riddick. Played by Vin Diesel, this will be the third installment of Riddick’s character; we first saw him in Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick.

Directed by David Twohy, the untitled project was actually halted during production for two months because of financing issues. With filming resumed, Sackhoff is now in final negotiations to star opposite Diesel after rumors that she was being considered for the role.

Sackhoff can currently be seen on her new series Longmire which can be viewed on A&E. She will also be seen in Haunting In Georgia and Evil Sexy Genius later this year.
