Stephenie Meyer’s ‘The Host’ Poster Featuring Saoirse Ronan

The poster for the movie adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s book The Host has been released. It features Saoirse Ronan who plays main character Melanie.

The film also stars Max Irons as Jared, Jake Abel as Ian, William Hurt, Diane Kruger and Frances Fisher, it was directed by Andrew Niccol (Gattaca, In Time). The film is scheduled to hit theaters on March 29th, 2013.

Based on the best-selling novel by Twilight Saga author Stephenie Meyer, ‘The Host’ is a riveting story about the survival of love and the human spirit in a time of war. Our world has been invaded by an unseen enemy. Humans become hosts for these invaders, their minds taken over while their bodies remain intact. Most of humanity has succumbed.
