Jena Malone In Talks For ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’
‘Sucker Punch’ actress Jena Malone is said to be in talks to star in The Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire according to reports coming from The Hollywood Reporter. If Malone accepts the actress would portray the character Johanna Mason, a role that would secure a position for the performer in the trilogy’s third installment, ‘Mockingjay’, as well. Mason’s soon to be alter ego (if things go right) is known to fans of the saga as ‘The Hunger Games’ winner from District 7. On the big screen adaption Malone will co-star alongside lead actress Jennifer Lawrence who plays Katniss Everdeen and Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark.
While many know Malone best from her role as Rocket in the Zack Synder fantasy film, the twenty-seven year old has also appeared in the TV mini-series ‘Hatfield & McCoys’, ‘Robot Chicken’, Dakota’, ‘I Think Bad Thoughts’, ‘Law & Order’, ‘Into the Wild’, ‘The Ballad of Jack and Rose’, ‘Pride & Prejudice’, and ‘The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys’.
