Daniel Radcliffe Takes The Lead In ‘Horns’
Everyone’s favorite boy wizard Daniel Radcliffe, who played Harry Potter in the eight movie franchise adapted from the books of J.K. Rowling, has signed on for a new movie role. It was announced that Radcliffe will take the lead in the fantasy thriller Horns.
The movie is an adaption from the book by the same name penned by author Joe Hill. Radcliffe would play Ig Perrish, a man who wakes up one day with horns growing out of his head. The horns’ “power drives people to confess their sins and give in to their most selfish and unspeakable impulses.” Radcliffe’s alter ego is also the police’s #1 suspect when his girlfriend is raped and murdered.
The upcoming movie is set to be directed by Alexandre Aja (“The Hills Have Eyes) from an adapted screenplay by writer Keith Bunin of ‘In Treatment’ fame. Riza Aziz, Joey McFarland, Cathy Schulman and Adam Stone, Joe Hill and Joe Gatta are all on board executive producers. ‘Horns’ will be co-produced by Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland’s Red Granite Pictures. Red Granite who will co-produce the flick with Mandalay Pictures.
