‘Malavita’ Announces Cast Line-Up
The drama Malavita has announced final casting for the Eurocorp and Relativity Media production. It has been revealed that actors Robert De Niro, who is famous for his roles in mafia features like ‘Goodfellas’ and ‘The Godfather’, as well as Michelle Pfeiffer (People Like Us), Tommy Lee Jones (No Country For Old Men), Dianna Agron (Glee, I Am Number Four) and John D’Leo (The Wrestler, Wanderlust) have joined the flick.
Together the star studded line-up will play out a story that revolves around the well known mafia clan, the Manzonis family, who relocate to Normandy, France “under the witness protection program.” While the family makes a serious attempt at blending in with the likes of their traditional counterparts they slowly but surely revert to the old “family way”.

Pre-production is currently underway with filming set to kick off this month at La Cité du Cinéma, as well as on location in Normandy, France and New York. ‘Malavita’, that has been labeled as a thriller, has a release date of sometime in 2013.
