Disneynature Announces Motion Picture ‘Bears’
Walt Disney Studio’s Disneynature has unveiled the news that they are currently working on a new film entitled Bears. The motion picture is slated for a spring 2014 release and will highlight and explore the lives of bears, showing their gentle side against the backdrop of the landscapes of Alaska.
Alan Bergman, President of The Walt Disney Studios, made the official announcement of the forthcoming movie and gave details behind what fans can expect to see. “Our commitment to the production of Disneynature films is to capture nature on its own terms and its own schedule. These films are never rushed so that we can tell never-before-seen stories in our natural world that both astound and charm audiences.”
Bergman also shared Disney’s desire to give fans a better view of the interesting animals in their habitats. “Disneynature’s next adventure ‘Bears’ promises to continue this storytelling tradition by introducing audiences to a phenomenal variety of wildlife and offering rare glimpses into the day-to-day lives of these incredible animals.”
‘Bears’ will be directed by Keith Scholey (African Cats) and Alastair Fothergill (Chimpanzee). The film is currently in production in Alaska’s Katmai National Park with an official release sure to be revealed soon.
