‘Iron Man 3’ Movie Trailer and Photos with Robert Downey Jr, Guy Pierce, Ben Kingsley and more

We were promised a darker and grittier Iron Man 3 – a return to the tone of the first film – and this exciting new trailer and bunch of images sure doesn’t suggest rainbows and puppies for Tony Stark and his loved ones. Marvel is well aware that ‘Iron Man’ is the base on which the rest of the Avengers rest, and they don’t seem to be pulling any punches with this third part to their surprise 2009 hit. It looks great, and unpredictable, and should put all bad memories of ‘Iron Man 2’ out of people’s heads.

Could this be the darkest modern Marvel project yet? We’ll see when it’s released on May 3, 2013.
