Classic Tale, New Twist for ‘Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters’ in New Poster

Twisted fairytale update Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters hasn’t had the easiest time getting to the big screen, with a 2012 release date turned into a January 11th 2013 one that was probably something to do with the poor performance of the similarly pitched ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’. But by the time studios has realized audiences wouldn’t just accept any old ‘dark fairytale’ tosh, ‘Hansel & Gretel’ was already in the can and ready for release. This new poster for the film seems keen to rely on Renner and Arterton’s considerable star-power, but we’re far from completely sold on this.
