Hollywood Still Loves Natural Disasters in New Trailer for Eli Roth’s ‘Aftershock’
Now that we know 2012 didn’t spell the end of mankind, the constant ‘fear mother nature’ message dominating Hollywood over the last couple of years has become that bit more tired. It won’t stop Eli Roth’s Aftershock though, which bases itself within the 2010 Chilean earthquake. The only thing more frightening than Mother Nature is human nature, apparently, as the residents of an insane asylum are freed during the disaster.
Co-written (with Guillermo Amoedo and Roth) and directed by Latin-American filmmaker Nicolás López, you can see the film on theaters and on VOD in 2013.
