Christopher Meloni Joins ‘Sin City: A Dame To Kill’
‘Law and Order’ alum Christopher Meloni has been cast as a leading character in the forthcoming film Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, according to Deadline. Meloni will play an officer of the law in the movie that is being co-directed by both Frank Miller (300) and Robert Rodriguez (Machete).
Meloni will join a cast line-up of stars that include Joseph Gordon-Levitt (The Dark Knight Rises), Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler) Jessica Alba (Fantastic Four) Rosario Dawson (Ten Year), Jaime King (Waiting for Forever) Dennis Haysbert (24) and Jamie Chung (The Hangover Part II). The Dimension Films production is already filming and is scheduled to be released to US theaters on October 4, 2013.
Christopher Meloni is best known for his long running role on ‘Law and Order: Special Victims Unit’ in the role of Detective Elliot Stabler, ‘True Blood’ as Roman Zimojic, ‘Oz’ as the character Chris Keller, the TV movie ‘The Kentucky Derby’, the comedy feature ‘Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle’, ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’, ‘Leaving L.A.’, the hit television series ‘NYPD Blue’, ‘Misery Loves Company’, ‘The Boys’.
