Sandrine’s Top 10 Movies of 2012

Sandrine Sahakians

Sandrine has been a film lover for as long as she can remember. From actions films to rom com to indies, Sandrine pretty much enjoys every type of films, apart from horror movies. She’s always on the lookout for great films suggestions and is open to try anything… that is except for horror films ;)

I haven’t seen all of those yet but some of them are on my top 10 list as well. I feel the same way about horror movies (especially if they involve clowns in any way) but The Cabin in the Woods was fantastic surprise.

Which one was your favorite movie of 2012?

Yeah, clowns I can relate. Although for some weird reason when I was younger I watched “It” more times than I care to admit or that I can even understand. Don’t think I could ever watch it again now. Haha.

From the movies that I’ve seen so far I would go with The Avengers. I’m a big Marvel and Joss Whedon fan so I was definitely the target market for that one.

I’m pretty sure my fear of clowns stems from my uncle showing me “Killer Clowns from Outer Space” when I was pretty young. I’ve also actively avoided watching “It” my entire life because I knew it would not sit well with me.

Yes, I loved The Avengers too. It’s also one of my favorites from last year, but I unfortunately could only pick 10 so choices had to be made. haha.

And I’ve never seen “Killer Clowns from Outer Space.” Will make sure to stay clear of that one then. And “It,” yeah I wouldn’t recommend it either. Haha!

Great list, I like that we shared a lot of favorite movies!

I finally saw Rust & Bone, too, and I’m sad it’s being overshadowed by Amour, since I thought Rust & Bone was a little bit better.

Thanks! And I know, I realized that we did share quite a few movies :)

I haven’t seen Amour yet, but as you know I really loved Rust and Bone. I’m surprised it didn’t get more Award love.
