Mariah Carey Records Song ‘Almost Home’ for ‘Oz the Great and Powerful’

Disney have announced that pop star Mariah Carey will be recording an original song for Sam Raimi’s upcoming spin on ‘The Wizard of Oz’, Oz the Great and Powerful, titled ‘Almost Home’.

“‘Almost Home’ has a message that works beautifully with the film,” Mariah Carey says of the song she co-wrote and co-produced for ‘Oz the Great and Powerful.’ “It’s a feel-good record; it gives you the feeling of reaching your home and being with people that you love.”

Starring James Franco, Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams and Rachel Weisz, the film hits theaters on March 8th where you can hear Mariah’s song for yourself.
