10 New Photos for ‘The Place Beyond the Pines’ with Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper

Exciting new releases may be a bit thin on the ground right now, but spring is fast approaching, and one film we’re eager to see is Derek Cianfrance’s The Place Beyond the Pines. The film sees Ryan Gosling reunite with Cianfrance for the first time since ‘Blue Valentine’, with a fresh new best actor nominee thrown into the mix in the form of Bradley Cooper.

The story sees a stunt-performer (Gosling) who tries to reconnect with an old flame (Eva Mendes) and the son they share together. As he gives up his life on the road to provide for his family, he ends up tangled up in a string of bank robberies. This puts him on the radar of a rookie cop (Cooper), who is also having trouble balancing his personal life with his dangerous professional life.

Also starring Ray Liotta, Rose Byrne, Mahershala Ali, Dane DeHaan, Emory Cohen and Ben Mendelsohn, ‘The Place Beyond the Pines’ hits theaters on March 29th.
